Elfin Forest Upcountry Rancho Santa Fe – Hidden Gem in San Diego County

One of my favorite hidden gems in San Diego real estate is Elfin Forest.  Located above Rancho Santa Fe and The Bridges Golf Club, Elfin Forest offers a hidden piece of rural lifestyle for those looking for large parcels and quite country life, yet close to Coastal communities of Encinitas and Carlsbad.  I kind of think of Elfin Forest as Rancho Santa Fe was 30 years ago.  Most people don’t even know about Elfin Forest since it is located in the Escondido Zip Code (92029), but trust me the style of living is much closer to Olivenhain and Rancho Santa Fe.
