My wife and I had recently dealt with a sad situation involving an investor property we owned. Upon realizing we were faced with a pretty severe situation as a result of actions from our own representations, I posted a question on Trulia to gain information relating to our situation. We received many answers but the one that stood out was the response that Jeff had made. We later called Jeff to elaborate and found ourselves in his warm and caring hands. Our situation was time sensitive and the prospect of actually obtaining a resolve was almost too much to ask. Jeff stepped in and assisted because he cared how a person should be treated by their Real Estate representation. Jeff cared enough to lend us his time and expertise knowing the matter was almost a certain lost cause. Our situation fell apart but it was not because we sat and allowed as such, it fell apart because we were horribly misrepresented. Jeff’s actions were out of caring and a desire to right a wrong. He wanted to expose us to what could be a good side to an industry littered by greed for selfish needs. Despite our outcome, we were warmed by Jeff’s actions. I look forward to the opportunity to suggest his services to others in need. It is hard to certify anyone in this business, during these times. Jeff is indeed what people need when seeking a true professional.

We watched San Diego real estate “long distance” for over 5 years. While we made contact with several agents over that period of time, we were not in a position to make a commitment, and those agents were not very interested in us if we were not going to buy a house right away. When timing was right for us to pursue a move in earnest, we came across Jeff. We started with a phone call. We followed up with a cup of coffee. It seemed like a good fit, so we engaged Jeff as a Buyer’s agent. He was supportive and spent considerable time with us even knowing we weren’t necessarily going to buy right away.

I was extremely pleased with how he supported us through the process. He showed us many houses just to help us better understand the market. He was patient as we rejected place after place as not being right for us. He was a good learner, and developed a good sense for what we were looking for. And he was straightforward in providing his perspective and offering his experience. And I particularly appreciated that everything possible was done paperless and online, which was especially helpful for us in pursuing a purchase long distance.

Being new to California, Jeff was helpful in guiding us through a process that was different from our previous experiences, and he was patient with our questions of “what”, “why”, and “how”. He again showed his patience at my endless questions about CC&Rs and California Disclosures, and handled local follow-up that we were unable to do cross-country. In the end, we’re homeowners in California and pleased with both the process and the end product. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jeff to anyone looking to buy in the area.

Jeff educated us on everything we needed to know as a first time buyer. He showed us all our price range had to offer and what the positives and negatives of each house were, and kept looking until he found us the perfect house….. 8 MONTHS LATER! Jeff called us at 4pm and we drove up to Temecula to see a house that ended up ours.

He did not give up on us! Jeff kept us updated and informed on what was going on and he worked as late as he needed to get thing done. Jeff went above and beyond are expectations, he made the whole experience perfect for us, and we will recommend him and use him again in the future.

We are from Seattle and my husband just took a job in the SanDiego area. Given the fact that we knew nothing about the area and have had horrid prior realtor experiences, we were very careful in selecting a realtor to work with. Our first clue that Jeff would be great was his uniquely professional and helpful website. Our email contacts with him sealed the deal. Jeff met us the day after we drove down and was extremely helpful not only in showing us properties which he had thoroughly researched, but also in acquainting us with the area. “We first meet Jeffrey online, and worked with him while relocating to San Diego. We were in a difficult price range as buyers and the home inventory was very tight, Jeff showed us over 30+ homes, even going to see the one we finally bought at 9:30 at night. We didn't know much about San Diego, but Jeffrey showed us some great areas to raise our family. He was also there for us when we called, video taped homes so we could see them when we were not in San Diego, and explained the whole process to us. We were VA buyers making our search that much harder. It took us 5 months to find our lovely home, Jeffrey was patient and never tried to pressure us into anything. He continues to help us

I am a very methodical person, and I came to know Jeff through his blog posts during almost a year of researching places to live in San Diego. I was impressed with what he had to say, and I decided to ask him to represent me. Jeff quickly learned my personal style, which leans towards doing the “fun” part of the research myself (with the help of online tools he provided) and involving him primarily to handle the difficult parts of the process, including getting access to properties and researching the positions of sellers in order to determine the correct offers to make. Jeff's help with the technical side of the transaction ultimately proved invaluable, as the property I purchased was a short sale involving two lenders on the seller's side who were difficult to work with. Jeff was not fazed by any part of the transaction. There were some dicey moments, but we were ultimately able to close a deal on a property that is just about as perfect as I could have hoped for. – June 5, 2009
