San Diego Luxury Markets price per square foot. The latest Altos reports are out yesterday and I thought it would be interesting to see what the luxury markets of Coronado, Del Mar, La Jolla, and Rancho Santa Fe were doing on a median price per square foot basis for active listings.

Rancho Santa Fe was the most dramatic drop in median price per  square foot from just under $1,200 per square foot in late 2007 to under $600.00 as of yesterday.  Rancho Santa Fe is also the San Diego luxury market with the largest homes – note the chart below showing an median of just over 6,000 square feet.
