It is also the area with the most planned growth over future years but has stalled somewhat by the real estate downturn.
Buildings in East Village include 677 Seventh, Alta, Angrove Lofts, Diamond Terrace, Element, Fahrenheit, Icon, Jacaranda Studios, Lofts @707 Tenth, M2i, Metrome, Nexus, Park Boulevard East & West, Parkloft, Park Terrace, Rowhomes on F, Smart Corner (Skylofts), Studio 15, The Legend, The Lofts at 777 Sixth, The Mark, the Metropolitan, Three-in-a-Rowhouses, Union Square, and Vantage Point.
The East Village District is home to Petco Park, Artist lofts, studios, galleries, and restaurants. The neighborhood includes the under construction Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego City College, and two high schools.
We are close to seeing the completion of the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge between Petco Park at Hilton Bayside completing a 100 year vision of linking two of the regions best assets – San Diego Bay and Balboa Park for walkers. Check out the video below for more sights of East Village.
